He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Datametrics (EDM), creator of innovative software and transformative technologies that have a meaningful impact on energy conservation. EDM has created the leading energy efficiency program management software used by nation’s largest energy companies and the leading consumer energy efficiency assessment platform.

Helped establish and lead Conservation Services Group from inception to the sale of operations in 2015. Expert in residential energy efficiency program design, Led CSG’s business development and new program design department and oversaw major residential efficiency programs in several states and the province of Quebec over a 30+ year career. Now working with a variety of organizations on residential energy efficiency and distributed generation policy and program design and on incorporating residential work into efficiency and carbon reduction plans.

He serves on the Boards of the One Eleuthera Foundation (OEF) and teaches at Vanderbilt. He has led hundreds of sustainability projects, dating back to 2002, across all aspects of environmental, social & governance issues. He is a frequent speaker and writer for Sustainable Brands, GreenBiz, Triple Pundit and Nashville Business Journal. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Systems Engineering and from Vanderbilt an MBA degree in strategy.

Over the past decade, Nahal has served as a leading advocate for historically marginalized communities and tribes in climate and water equity planning, policy, and public funding decision-making processes. She now facilitates a nationwide initiative, bringing utilities together with community partners to elevate and advance promising practices that foster equitable water management and investments. Outside of work, Nahal enjoys riding bikes with her husband and child along the SF Bay shoreline, cooking, gardening, and dancing at live music events.
